Sangita Reddy | Founder and Managing Director
For more than 20 years, Sangita Reddy has worked to optimize costs and improve service delivery for both healthcare providers and payers. She has been a pioneer in advocating the benefits of the global delivery model. She has earned the respect of international healthcare leaders and has influenced the development of the healthcare information technology industry.
In addition to her leadership role at Apollo, Sangita is also the executive director of the Apollo Hospitals Group.
Andrew DeVoe | President & Chief Executive Officer
Andrew DeVoe has served as the president and chief executive officer of Apollo Health Street since 2007.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in managing the finances of rural and urban, for-profit and not-for-profit medical centers around the country. Andrew is an industry-recognized specialist in helping hospitals and healthcare organizations maximize their revenue cycle.
Prior to joining Apollo, Andrew served as chief financial officer of the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia as well as previous roles with several hospitals associated with Health Management Association, Hospital Corporation of America, and Tenet Healthcare Corporation. He is a four-time recipient of Tenet’s Outstanding CFO award.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Belmont University in Nashville. He was honored by the Philadelphia Business Journal on their Top 40 Under 40 list of business professionals and is a member of HFMA.
Divya Sehgal | EVP, Chief Operating Officer
Divya Sehgal has worked with Apollo Health Street for eight years and is part of the founding team at Apollo. In addition to playing the COO role, Divya also has direct oversight responsibility for three of the four business units: Physician, Payer, and IT & Strategic Solutions.
Divya is an experienced business manager, having worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and as an investment banker with ANZ Investment bank. His experience includes advising both public and private sector businesses around the world in the areas of restructuring, acquisition, entry strategy formulation and portfolio strategy. Divya was co-founder of Emedlife and grew it be the one of the leading health services organization in India with clients like BBC, AT&T, HP, and others.
He earned a master of business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is a charter member of TIE and has been an active speaker at forums like Nasscom (association of Indian IT/ITES companies), World Health Congress and CEO forum of IMA. He is also a board member for Save a Child’s Heart, an international humanitarian project to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease.
Arnab Sen | EVP, Chief Financial Officer
With eight years at Apollo Health Street, Arnab Sen leads the company’s financial team while also overseeing initiatives relating to the organizations growth strategy.
An entrepreneur at heart, Arnab previously co-founded Emedlife, a healthcare services company that provides third party administrative services which was acquired by Apollo. In 2004, he was profiled in Business Today as one of India’s Top 25 Hottest Young Executives.
He also has worked for several years with McKinsey & Company. His work at McKinsey involved formulating turnaround strategy, identification of greenfield projects, acquisition led diversification opportunities, design and implementation of key account management program for improving the marketing effectiveness, and development of business unit strategy.
Arnab earned a master of business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is a member of the CII - India Business Forum (IBF) in the US.
William Colgan | EVP, Hospital Services
Bill Colgan brings focused expertise in both healthcare revenue cycle management and IT to his role as executive vice president of Apollo Health Street’s hospital services. He joined the company in 2006 when Apollo purchased Armanti Financial Services, a company which Bill co-founded.
He previously served as executive vice president for NDC Health, which specialized in physician and hospital billing, collections, and practice management. Prior to NDC, Bill was one of the founders of Medlink, an electronic medical records company.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and computer sciences from Rutgers University.
Daniel Schulte | SVP, Client Operations
As senior vice president of operations for Apollo Health Street since 2007, Dan Schulte is responsible for all onsite operations at client hospitals, including site management of full and focused business office outsourcing, performance reporting, and relationship management. He is also responsible for sales support activities including presentations, pricing, and contracts.
He has garnered more than 30 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, most recently as national operations manager for Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services, a national IT and revenue cycle solutions organization. Dan also worked in both the hospital and physician arenas to develop and improve business processes that ensured compliance, collecting revenue, and mitigating financial risk.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College and a master of business administration from Southern Illinois University. He received his Certified Healthcare Financial Professional credentials in 1992 from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Hariharan Velayudhan | SVP, Physician Services
Hari Velayudhan is the senior vice president of Apollo Health Street’s physician services and also leads the business development efforts across the company. He began his employment with Apollo nine years ago conceptualizing, designing, and launching India’s first Disease Management Program.
His experience spans more than a 15 years of sales and marketing across consumer goods, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors. He is a member of the Health Management Academy (HMA) and has presented several papers on globalization of healthcare.
Hari earned a master of business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India.
Namit Agarwal | SVP, Payer Services & Quality
Namit Agarwal is Apollo Health Street’s senior vice president and business unit head for Payer Services. He is a senior level industry executive and entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience in delivering top quality services both for domestic and international customers. He is the architect of the Global Delivery Model for Apollo having been responsible for setting up operations for both Payer and Provider divisions from initial concept.
Prior to joining Apollo, Namit worked for multiple years with Citibank in their Operations & Technology division. There he experienced first-hand the power of technology to transform business processes – he set up the first data warehouse for Citibank. Namit also co-founded Emedlife, a healthcare services company that provides third party administrative services and was among the first in India to offer cashless hospitalization facility to corporate employees.
In addition, Namit heads the quality function globally for Apollo. He has developed an expert team on quality who are spearheading the rollout of six-sigma and LEAN culture across the organization. Namit supports the deployment of Net Promoter Score as a tool to quantify customer satisfaction.
Namit received a master’s degree in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta where he was on the Roll of Honor for outstanding academic achievement. He also earned a graduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
Richard Lipack | SVP, U.S. Operations
Richard Lipack is Apollo Health Street’s senior vice president of operations for the company’s provider services.
Richard previously served as chief information officer of Accordis and senior vice president of Zavata, both of which are now part of Apollo. He is also a co-developer of Zavata’s AccessLine, the company’s proprietary online account management system which is still utilized by Apollo.
Richard served as executive vice president of HHL Financial Services, a major healthcare billing and collections company with more than 1,700 employees. He also held the position of chief executive officer of Professional Data Services, a subsidiary of HHL Financial Services, which provided all data processing and development support for numerous hospital associations.
He earned a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in computer science from Pace University in New York.
Sanjeev Bajpai | SVP, IT Operations
Sanjeev Bajpai is the senior vice president of Global IT operations, managing the IT delivery of software development and quality assurance, implementation services, product support and professional services. He also leads Apollo’s internal technology and software development team.
With over 25 years of experience, Sanjeev is an IT expert, planning, deploying, and managing large scale IT projects. Previously, he worked with LML, JK Synthetics Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., and Microland Ltd. He has been instrumental in setting up several delivery centers to service clients across the globe.
Sanjeev earned a bachelor's degree in commerce from Delhi University and PGDCA from Delhi Productivity Council. He has participated in specialized top management courses by premier institutions like Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, NIIT, and Sapient College in India.
Sanjeev has been an expert speaker on many technology forums and is a visiting faculty member at the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
